my new favorite thing!

I love posting about my new favorite findings! Me and a couple of my neighbors have made it a ritual to go out to lunch and get pedicures on a semi-regular basis. Since it is a semi-regular basis, my good friend Kami found this product to help with the in between stages of our outings. She told me about it ( BTW, you can purchase it at Walgreen's for $10) and I wasn't sure it would work. Well, I'm here to tell you that you should go right out and pick one up TODAY! The PedEgg is AmAzInG!! Of course, nothing beats a good pedicure, but this sure helps with the nasty skin that seems to creep in without warning. I'm sure I'll love it even more come sandal/flip flop weather season! Thanks, Kami for the great find!

there's WhAt in the peanut butter?!

Have any of you been following the peanut butter saga? Well, Aaron watches the news (EVERY night) and mentioned to me that some peanut butter was being recalled. I'm not exactly sure which types and such, but I do know that Costco sent home a letter saying that if anyone had purchased Austin Peanut Butter sandwich crackers or Keebler in the past year, they needed to be returned....for a full refund!! This was, in fact, one instance that I'm glad my husband LOVES the news. I'm sure we would have continued to eat and eat nasty crackers. So, if any of you out there have purchased any of the Ausin or Keebler brand crackers, please return them so you won't get sick.

what's your number?

My friend told me about this the other day so I decided to give it a try. Quite interesting, if you ask me. I thought that some points were right on and others maybe not so right on. Then again, maybe they are all right on and I just don't want to admit it. What do you think?

out with the old...in with the new!

So far, no complaints about 2009. Well, maybe the amount of snow that Mother Nature has felt impressed to give us! Other than that, life is good. Our little family rang in the new year with an enjoyable and fun filled evening with family, food, games, and hours of Dance Dance Revolution (which I highly recommend trying if you haven't already)! I go through the same emotions every December 31st/January 1st. What would I have changed about the year? Do I have any regrets? Was I a better Mom, friend, wife, sister, and daughter? You know, the standard questions. And it turns out that every new year I realize that there is always room for improvement. I love my life and where I'm at and am thankful for the learning and growing experiences that come with each new year. I'm hopeful that 2009 won't be an exception. Since I tend to follow tradition, I thought I would list a few things I either look forward to or goals I hope to accomplish in 2009.

* more family vacations
* to be more organized
* practice being more patient
* adjusting to having both boys in school FULL TIME
* scheduling a regular date night with my husband
* sticking with my exercise program
* accomplish one good deed a day
* being aware of how blessed we are and not to take it for granted

Here's to 2009! May we all try to make memories and live each day without regret!
